Standard (Link/Synchronized) Videowall Presentations
Creating the Leader Presentation
Select New Presentation in the Dashboard
Select Standard as the Presentation Type
Enter a Name (for example, "Upper Left")
Select Start
This will take you to a new window. Double-click on the zone in the center panel.
Switch the Interactive slider at the top right to make the presentation interactive.
Drag your starting image onto the screen to prepare for synchronization as well as a video.
Setting the Synchronization Commands
Add a Timeout event to the image and drag it to the video (see Image 1)
Add a Media End event to the video and drag it to the image
Select the Timeout event on the image and open the Advanced tab. Select Add Command:
Select Link under Command
Chose Synchronize as the Command Parameter
Choose the down arrow and then enter "play" as the Keyword (see Image 2)
On the Media End event on the video, select Add Command:
Select Link under Command.Â
Chose Synchronize as the Command Parameter.
Choose the down arrow and then enter "stop" as the Keyword.Â
You can optionally add a UDP Media event to the image and name/label it "play", and add a UDP Media event to the video and name/label it "stop". Select the UPD Media event icons and under the Advanced tab, select Add Command:
Select Link under Command
Chose Synchronize as the Command Parameter
Choose the down arrow and then enter "play" as the Keyword for the image UDP Media event and enter "stop" as the Keyword for the video UDP Media event
Select Publish in the top right corner and Save
This will take you to the Schedule tab. Select a networked unit to play the presentation by clicking the correct box under Networked Units.
Select Publish. Your display screen will now receive the presentation you sent it over the network.
Creating the Follower Presentations
While the player reboots, return to the presentation in the Presentation tab
Select Save As and give the presentation a new name (for example, Upper Right)
Remove the Timeout and Media End events from the image and video and add a Synchronization event to the image:
Drag the event from the image to the video.
Enter "play" under Specify synchronization keyword (see Image 3)
Add a Synchronization event to the video:
Drag the event from the video to the image.
Enter "stop" under Specify synchronization keyword
Select Publish in the top right corner, and Save
In the Schedule tab, assign this presentation to the correct player (for example, the upper right player) by clicking the correct box under Networked Units
Repeat these steps until each player has been assigned a separate presentation
