Video In State

The Video In state allows for live-video playback from another source via the HDMI® Input port on the XT1145, XT2145, XT1144, XT1143, and 4K1142 models.

State Properties

  • Name: The name of the Video In state

  • Initial State: Select this to make this state the home screen

Options

  • Volume: Allows you to set the volume. For presentations in Advanced mode, volume can also be changed using the Set Volume command.

  • Overscan enabled: Check this box to display the video input beyond the edges of the zone. Use this option if the source video signal is using an overscan setting.

Using Video In

  1. In a presentation for an XT1145, XT2145, XT1144, XT1143, or 4K1142 player, drag the Video In widget onto your canvas.

  2. Give the state a name in the State Properties panel.

  3. Connect the widget to a media event as shown in Image 1. When the media ends, it will go to the Video In widget, which will take the signals from the HDMI input and display it in that zone.
