Whenever you create a new project, various presentation properties will be set using the default settings. If you often use the same set of properties, you can save time by changing the default settings to what you use most often. To edit application preferences, navigate to Admin > Application Preferences. Select Apply Changes to save changes to your preferences, or Reset to reset them to the initial or previously saved values. Note that Reset will not change any values that have already been saved.

Adding IR remote codes

For the IR code .csv, only NEC protocol is currently supported. IRscrutinizer may be helpful for converting from commonly-found formats like Pronto.

The Decimal value is the combination of the Code (common prefix) followed by the Unique Value. So for RC-1001, for example... Custom Code: 6F90

0x16

power

7311382

hex 6F9016

= hex 6F9000 (common custom code plus trailing 0s to leave space for the unique value) + hex 16 (unique value)
= decimal 7311360 + decimal 22
= decimal 7311382

See Remote Control Specifications (RC-1001, RC-1002) for RC-1001 and RC-1002 codes.

Interactive

Use the Interactive dropdown to set a default timeout period for events.

...

  • Published Data: The maximum size allotted to all presentation and content files that are written to the storage device during the publishing process. This includes audio, video, images, text, and HTML content files.

  • Dynamic Data: The maximum size of all dynamic content, including Dynamic Playlists and MRSS feeds. When this segment runs out of space, dynamic content files will be deleted to create space, starting with the oldest files first.

  • HTML Data: The maximum size of the HTML application cache.

  • HTML Local Storage: The maximum size of all JavaScript variables and data.

  • HTML IndexedDB: The maximum amount of storage allocated to the IndexedDB web database application.

  • Total: The sum percentage or amount of MB allotted.

Network Hierarchy

The Network Hierarchy allows users to set either All Players or Player Group as the default in the Hierarchy pane (see Image 2). When Network Hierarchy is not set, All Players is the default setting. Groups and Group View are only available for Content Cloud networks.

Toggle to your desired preference and then select Apply Changes to set it as the default.
