The current BOS 9.0.145.1 release contains a Beta version of Chromium 110 . This version, which exceeds the Power BI requirement for Series 5, and BOS 9.0.168 contains a production version of Chromium 120. These versions can be set by using the chromium110 registry key . The next BOS 9.0 release, which should be available before the end of August, will upgrade the beta Chromium 110 version to version 120. This functionality, set through the registry, will be considered a beta, but and offer significant performance improvements, enhanced security, and access to the latest web technologies.
This functionality will eventually move into a BOS 9.1 release which will contain Chromium 120 as the default. These versions offer significant performance improvements, enhanced security, and access to the latest web technologies.
