  • Select channel: Determine which channel will be played upon entering the RF In state:
    • First scanned channel: Displays the first channel detected during the channel scan (i.e. the smallest detectable channel number).
    • Channel name: Displays the channel with the specified name. To use this option, you must first specify a “ScanResults“ScannedChannels.xml” file xml” file in the Specify RF channel scan file field.
    • Virtual channel: Displays the channel based on its virtual number:
      • Current virtual channel: Manually enter the virtual number of the channel. You should only use this number if you are familiar with the channel map of the cable source.
      • Select different virtual channel: Select the virtual number of the channel based on the results of the channel scan. To use this option, you must first specify a “ScannedChannels.xml” file in the Specify RF channel scan file field.
    • User variable: Displays the channel based on the value of a User Variable. The system software can recognize both channel name and virtual channel number as the value of a User Variable. Before you can enable this option, you must first designate one or more User Variables.
  • On entry to this state: Determine what should happen when playback enters the RF In state:
    • Remain on last tuned channel: The player remains on the same channel that was displayed the last time the presentation was in the RF In state. The state will use your Select channel settings if it is the first time the presentation is entering the RF In state.
    • Retune as specified above: Choose this option if you would like the player to retune using your Select channel settings every time the presentation enters the RF In state.
  • Event that triggers channel up: Specify an event trigger that will flip up through channels.
  • Event that triggers channel down: Specify an event trigger that will flip down through channels.
  • Overscan: Check this box to display the video input beyond the edges of the zone. Use this option if the source video signal is using an overscan setting.
