This section describes how specific components operate on the LS425 and LS445.

On-Board LED

The single on-board LED flashes using the same codes as the red status (Err) LED described below. The LED will also acts as a power-on light (similar to the green LED on other players) and will illuminate when power is applied to the player and will remain in a solid state. The LED will flash to indicate an error as described in the chart below, or flash during the firmware update process and (it will cease flashing when the update is complete) 

Flashes a certain number of times to indicate which error is occurring. The flash codes are described below
