Sign in to BSN.cloud (in the upper right corner of BrightAuthor:connected) using your email address and password or click New User to create an account.
Select Setup in the Admin tab
Enter a Setup Name, Player Name, and Player Description.
Set your Time Zone. The player should be connected to the internet to set the time correctly, but the time can be set manually as well. See this page for more information.
Select an Idle Screen Color. The default is black but it is helpful to select an alternate color to readily identify when the display is idling as opposed to powered off.
Select Partner App under Publishing Mode, and click on Select a Partner App.
In the dialog box that appears, select your preferred partner application.
Select either Save Setup or Add Setup and save to a blank microSD card. Save the files to the top/root level of the card; do not save to a sub-folder. A message may appear indicating that your OS should be up to date. Select OK.to Library:
If you need to use CA certificates,
select Save Setup to save directly to the
microSD card through BrightAuthor:connected.
If you want to save to
a microSD card, select Save Setup in BrightAuthor:connected.
If you don’t need to use certificates and want to use control.bsn.cloud, you should select Add Setup to Library so you can provision online.

Make sure the player is powered off. |
Insert the storage device (usually a microSD card) into the player.
Power up the player.
Upon bootupboot up, the player should display a message on the screen indicating that setup is in progress. Do not unplug the player.
When complete, the player will display a message indicating that setup is complete.
You can now publish to the playercontinue setup with the partner CMS. Refer to the partner documentation for more information on how to publish content to your player through their application.
