To move a player from one network to another, follow the steps below.

These steps maintain the player’s network settings, enabling the player to be accessible over the network during the entire process. The player’s current OS version is also maintained.

  1. From the old network, go to Admin > Provision, and click the delete icon (trashcan). This removes the player’s provisioning record from bsn.cloud.

Note that at this point, the player will continued to be displayed in the Network tab of the old network. Even though the player’s provisioning record has been deleted in Step 1 above, bsn.cloud will still treat the player as belonging to the old network until the player has been reprovisioned to a new network.

  1. Switch to the new network (using the network drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the app) and provision the player under the new network. There are a number of ways to provision a player as described here.

  1. Although Step 2 creates a new provisioning record for the player on the new network, the player must be explicitly “reprovisioned” for everything to take effect. Switch to the old network, go to the Network tab, click the settings icon (gear) to enter the player’s RDWS.

  1. From within the RDWS, go to Control > Reprovision Player and click Update. This will cause the player to reboot. Once rebooted, the player should be reprovisioned for the new network, and the player should be displayed in both the Network tab and the Provision screen of the new network.
