BrightAuthor Version 4.6

The Library section allows you to see all content files (images, audio, video) that have been uploaded to your BrightSign Network account. Files with a green check mark are currently active. You can perform any of the following actions:

Switch between thumbnail and list views: Click the icons in the upper-right portion of the screen.
Refresh the library: Click the Refresh button in the upper-right portion of the screen.
View item info: Right-click a file and click Info. Here you can view the file size, type, date modified, and date uploaded, as well as all presentations and all Dynamic Playlists using the file.
Delete an item: Right-click a file and click Delete. Keep in mind that you can only delete files that aren’t currently active.
Edit Media Tags: Right-click a file and click Edit Tags to add or remove media tags from that media item. You can switch between editing System and User tags:
- System tags have values that are defined by the BrightSign Network (such as the media file size and upload date); you cannot edit the title or value of these tags.
- User tags have customizable titles and text values.
Copy Media Tags: Right-click a file and click Copy Tags. Select one or more target media files for copying and click Save. This will copy all tags that are associated with the original file; it will also overwrite any tags associated with the target media file(s).
