The Main tab contains general presentation settings:
Connector type: Use the dropdown list to indicate the type of connector you are using for your display.
Screen resolution: Use the dropdown list to set a resolution supported by your display.
Portrait Mode: Modify the monitor orientation of your portrait presentation. This option is only available if you selected a portrait mode in the New Project window.
Force Resolution: Check this box to have the player output the selected Screen resolution even if the display reports over HDMI®/VGA that it does not support this resolution. If this box is unchecked, the player will attempt to use the selected Screen resolution first, but will then fall back to the highest resolution supported by the display if it is unsupported.
Enable 4.2.0 10-bit output:(XTx42, 4Kx42 models only) Check this box to output a 4.2.0 10-bit 4Kp60 or 4Kp50 video signal to the connected display. See the video encoding page for more details on supported 4K color spaces and bit depths.
Background screen color: Click Choose to select a background color for the presentation. This color will show through if there's no content on an area of the screen, or if the content has some level of transparency (and is not located on top of other content).
Language: Use the dropdown list to select a language for your presentation. This option affects the time/date display of Clock zones only, and can be customized in the Edit > Preferences > Clock tab.
RF channel scan file: Choose an RF channel scan XML file to associate with the presentation. All RF In states in the presentation will use this channel scan file. If you specify a different channel scan file in an RF In state, the RF channel scan file in this tab will change as well.
Note
A player can only contain a single RF channel manifest at any one time. Playing the presentation associated with the RF channel scan file will overwrite any previous RF channel configuration on the player. Furthermore, if you use a Tuner Scan state to create a new RF channel manifest while the presentation is running, the RF channel manifest specified in Presentation Properties will be overwritten.
Delay schedule change until current media item completes playback: Check this box to have a player wait until a media item completes playback to switch to a new scheduled presentation. For multi-zone presentations, the first media item to complete playback, no matter the zone, will trigger the scheduled presentation change. If this box is unchecked, a player will switch from one scheduled presentation to another at the specified time, without taking into account where playback is in the current presentation.
