SSD Installation (XTx44, XTx43, XDx34, XDx33)

The SSD slot on the BrightSign XTx44/XDx34 is an M-keyed M.2 connector compatible with NVMe drives, while the XTx43/XDx33 is an M-keyed M.2 connector compatible with ATAPI (SATA) drives. See this page for a full list of required and recommended specs for SSD devices.

We recommend 2280 (80mm) SSD modules for use with these players. There is a hole to accommodate a standoff for 42mm SSD modules (as well as 60mm modules on the XTx43/XDx33), but you will need to install your own standoff to secure the module to the circuit board.
