Undocking Panels

Undocking

To undock individual panels from the right pane, select the icon in the top right corner, as shown below. These icons only appear on panels which support undocking/docking.

Note that:

  • If multiple tabs are undocked, the window which was most recently undocked will have focus until the user clicks on another window. 

  • If all tabs within a pane are undocked, it will collapse.

  • Selected panels from both the left and right panes can be undocked.

Note that if you have undocked panels and navigate out of that tab, the related undocked panels will all close. When you come back to that UI, the previously undocked panels will reopen again in their last position on screen. Also, when you undock multiple panels while in a particular tab, the undocked windows open directly on top of each other.

Docking

Select the icon in the top right corner to redock the floating pane.

Note that:

  • If the pane has collapsed because all panels are undocked, it will reappear when a panel is docked.

Interacting with Undocked Panels

  • Select the bar at the top of the panel to move it around the window.

  • Select the bar at the top of the panel and drag to resize height and/or width of the floating panel.
