What software and firmware do I need for the TD1012?
The BrightSign TD1012 Tabletop Display uses the most recent BrightAuthor and firmware releases listed on the Legacy Downloads page.
Where are TD1012 demo projects and content?
Sample Portrait Videos (1280x800): See Portrait videos for miscellaneous portrait videosÂ
Sample BrightAuthor Projects (1280x800):
TD1012 Retail Demo - Full screen looping playlist with retail oriented videos
TD1012 Montage Demo - Full screen looping playlist with miscellaneous videos
1280x800 demo content will display with black bars on the sides unless the View Mode of the presentation is set to "Scale to Fill" (Edit > Playlist > Zone Properties).
Why doesn’t the TD1012 power button have any effect?
Sleep: Toggling the Power button off once puts the TD1012 display to sleep. It doesn't power off the TD1012.Â
Power Off: To power off the unit, you need to toggle the Power button on and off four times.Â
Restart: If you simply need to restart the TD1012, you can press the RESET button using a pen or paper clip. The recessed RESET button is next to the GPIO12 button on the side of the TD1012.
If you set up the TD1012 for Local File Networking, you can push updated projects directly to the TD1012 from BrightAuthor.
What resolution does the TD1012 use?
All TD1012 production units support 1360x768. All content must be rotated counter clock wise to display properly.Â
