Why BrightSign Doesn’t Release Chip Specifications

BrightSign chips have been carefully selected and optimized for a single purpose: digital signage. BrightSign chip specifications such as clock speed and memory cannot be easily compared to similar specifications of chips designed for general purpose computing. We believe that doing so is misleading and not indicative of actual digital signage performance. For this reason, BrightSign does not publish our chip specs. Benchmark comparisons of the digital signage specific performance of our hardware solutions against other hardware solutions are readily available on DigitalSignageBenchmark.com (see Image 1).

Development partners who feel that they need BrightSign chip specifications to implement a special case should contact support@brightsign.biz.
