Decommission a Player

To decommission a player:

  1. Remove the player from cloud services:

    1. If your player uses BrightSign Network (https://brightsignnetwork.com/), follow the steps in this article, up to and including step 4.

    2. If your player uses BSN.cloud, perform steps 1 and 2 in this article.

    3. If your player uses a CMS partner application, consult with the partner support team to remove your player from their service.

  2. Format the player's SD card by following the steps on this page.

  3. Factory reset your BrightSign player with one of the methods from this article.
